WEBSITE PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: October 1, 2026

The Bitar Law Firm, PLLC (“Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates www.bitarlaw.esq (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about visitors to the Site and people who contact us through it. It does not replace any separate privacy notice, engagement agreement, or confidentiality obligation governing our representation of a client.

Before publishing: Replace all bracketed text, remove options that do not reflect actual practices, and confirm the policy against the Site’s forms, analytics, advertising tools, vendors, and applicable law.

1.- Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide through the Site, such as your name, contact details, organization, the nature of your inquiry, and any information or files you choose to submit. If the Site offers newsletter subscriptions / event registration / appointment scheduling / payment features, we also collect information needed to provide those features.

When you visit the Site, our systems or service providers may collect technical information, including your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of access. We use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functions / analytics / advertising.

Please do not submit confidential or sensitive information through a general website form unless we have asked you to do so through an approved channel.

2.- How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries; assess whether we can consider a potential engagement, including conflicts checks; provide requested Site features; operate, secure, and improve the Site; communicate with you where permitted; maintain records; and comply with legal and professional obligations. We may use information for other purposes with notice or as permitted by law. We may use contact information for our newsletter or marketing uses, to which recipients may opt out by contacting the firm in writing.

Submitting information through the Site does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship. We will tell you if and when we agree to represent you.

3.- When We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to personnel and professional advisers who need it for Firm business; providers that host, maintain, secure, or analyze the Site or provide communications and other services on our behalf; and others as necessary to respond to your request or with your direction. We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization, subject to applicable professional obligations.

This section does not override duties of confidentiality owed to clients. We do not sell personal information collected through the Site. Do not retain that sentence unless the Firm has verified its practices and the meaning of “sell” under laws that may apply.

4.- Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to address inquiries, maintain records, and meet applicable legal or professional obligations. Retention periods may vary by the type of information and the reason it was collected. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, but no Internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.

5.- Cookies and Your Choices

The Site uses only cookies necessary for its operation. If the Site sends marketing email, recipients may opt out using the instructions in those messages.

6.- Other Websites and Visitors Outside Our Primary Service Area

The Site may link to websites operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information, or to limit certain uses. Contact us using the details below; we will review requests under applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Certain information may be retained where permitted or required by law or professional obligations.

7.- Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through the Site. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us using the details below.

8.- Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
